Summer League: Thunder 89, Jazz 75

ORLANDO -- The Oklahoma City Thunder completed their weeklong stint at the 2012 AirTran Airways Orlando Pro Summer League with a dominant fourth-quarter effort as they surged past the Utah Jazz for a 89-75 victory on Friday.

Perhaps the early 8 a.m. ET start caused a delay in production for OKC, but after a shaky first three quarters, the Thunder pounced on the Jazz by outscoring their opponent, 29-10, in the final frame.

Lazar Hayward finished out his impressive week with 15 points for the Thunder, who outrebounded the Jazz by 10 and attempted 14 more free throws. Reggie Jackson contributed 14 points, while Latavious Williams recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Enes Kanter paced the Jazz with 15 points, while Jeremy Evans scored 11 and Kevin Murphy and Justin Knox each had 10.

Although he didn't have an effective outing in the finale (eight points, 3-of-13 shooting), Utah's Alec Burks enjoyed a tremendous week and deserves consideration to be named the Most Valuable Player at the Orlando's summer league event.

Both OKC and Utah will not participate in NBA Summer League action in Las Vegas. Both teams went 3-2.
