ORLANDO -- It's no secret that the 2012 AirTran Airways Orlando Pro Summer gives players an outstanding opportunity to showcase their talent.

And Celtics guard Jonathan Gibson took complete advantage of his chance to put his skill-set on display.

The former New Mexico State University standout fired off 15 of his 17 points in the final frame to help Boston overcome a nine-point fourth-quarter deficit and earn an 82-73 victory on Tuesday.

"We put the ball in his hands and he caught fire," said Celtics rookie Jared Sullinger, who notched eight points and 12 rebounds.

Gibson went 4-for-4 from the field in the closing period and finished the night 3-for-5 from long range.

E'Twaun Moore scored 15 points for Boston, including six in the fourth quarter, while Kris Joseph added 11.

Brooklyn received a lot of production from its NBA veterans, but it was not enough to hold off a Boston squad that outscored the Nets 30-14 in the final frame.

Brooklyn's Al Thornton recorded 16 points and eight rebounds, while MarShon Brooks scored 13.

Adam Morrison, the third overall picks by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2006 NBA Draft, tallied a double-double for the Nets with 10 points and 10 boards.
