The Boston Celtics, powered by the acquisition of Antoine Walker, are stepping up and surging toward the Atlantic Division title. Known for his versatility, Walker has provided the Celtics with a solid low-post presence. If he and his teammates continue to mesh, Boston is capable of making a run deep into the playoffs.

The Celtics currently hold a 3½ game lead over Philadelphia for first place in the Atlantic Division, and the team has gone 14-6 since trading to return Walker to Boston back on Feb. 24, including a stretch where the Celtics won 11 of 12. Walker is averaging 17.5 points per game as a Celtic, second on the team only to Paul Pierce at 21.6.

The Play
Antoine Walker (8) begins this Celtic quick hitter with a dribble hand-off to Gary Payton (20). Payton (20) dribbles toward the middle of the court and balances the floor.

Antoine Walker (8) cuts off the staggered double screen set by Raef LaFrentz (45) and Paul Pierce (34) to get to the low post. Gary Payton (20) passes to Ricky Davis (12). Pierce (34) reads the defense and screens two defenders. Ricky Davis (12) passes to Antoine Walker (8) for the hoop.
