REAP, Inc. -- Helping Local Families Keep Their Lights On

REAP – Residential Energy Assistance Partnership provides help to disadvantaged elderly, disabled, and low-income customers with small children in Bexar County who are having trouble paying their natural gas and electric bills.

Established by CPS Energy in 2002 REAP is a partnership between CPS Energy, the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. Donations to REAP are tax-deductible. The non-profit foundation also engages in fund-raising activities.

Economically disadvantaged CPS Energy customers can contact the City at 207.7830 and Bexar County at 335.6770 (on Tuesdays after 9 AM) for an appointment, or they can write to 233 N Pecos #590, San Antonio, Texas 78207 for an application.

Those who would like to help can do so by checking the box for REAP on their monthly CPS Energy bill payments and indicating the amount they would like to add. If each customer contributed just twenty-five cents per month, we could help an additional 150 families!!
