The Spurs Community Garden, sponsored by Spurs Head Coach and President Gregg Popovich and the Spurs Foundation, has already produced thousands of pounds of fresh herbs and vegetables for the community. The produce has helped feed and educate the community, through the Food Banks Community Kitchen programs and partners of the San Antonio Food Bank.

The Spurs Community Garden is an initiative of the Nutrition Education Program that will increase services and the quantity of food available to the San Antonio community and outlying counties. The Spurs Community Garden is funded in part by the USDA Food Nutrition and Consumer Services and the Texas Department of State Health Services.
