The San Antonio Spurs look for a deja vu start against the Seattle Supersonics tonight in Game 2. The Spurs got off to a quick start in the first game of the series led by Tony Parker who scored the Spurs first seven points on the way to scoring 11 in the first quarter. The quick scoring was directly due to the Spurs ability to secure rebounds on the defensive end. The Spurs grabbed 11 boards in the first frame compared to 5 for the Sonics.

For the Sonics, the focus is on Ray Allen and Vladimir Radmanovic. Both players went down in the 2nd quarter with ankle injures. While Allen is questionable to play in Game 2, Radmanovic is doubtful. If Allen is unable to play, the Sonics could look inside to Jerome James to make up some of the 32.4 points Allen averaged in the first series against Sacramento.

Look for Seattle's shooting to improve in Game 2 as well. They averaged 46.7% from the floor and 33.7% beyond the arc in the first round, but hit just 42.9% of their attempts in the first game and went 2-for-10 on three-pointers. The three is one of Seattle's main weapons and if Ray Allen returns to the lineup, look for them to attempt more than 10 in Game 2.

One Key One Threat
Tim Duncan
With the Tony Parker's success in Game 1, the Sonics could look to pack the lane and keep him from driving to the basket. That would open up Tim Duncan to sink a few bank-shots from his sweet spot. As in the first series, the Spurs will switch offensive weapons to adapt to the defense - if the Sonics take away Tony's penetration, Duncan should make them pay...on the glass.
Ray Allen
While he may not even play in Game 2, Ray Allen remains a key for the Sonics. His return is crucial for them to carry out their gameplan, and without him in the lineup Seattle will play like a team with their backs against the wall.
