Spurs To Celebrate Silver Saturdays

SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Spurs will join six NBA teams to celebrate their history with a series of retro games as part of the sixth season of NBA Hardwood Classics Nights.

Beginning Saturday, December 2nd, the Spurs will host “Silver Saturdays”, sponsored by adidas and Academy Sports & Outdoors, at the AT&T Center. The first Spurs “Silver Saturday” celebration tips off at 7:00 p.m. against the Sacramento Kings.

As part of the night, all fans that enter the AT&T Center with a game ticket will receive a scratch and win card. At random, six lucky fans will win an autographed authentic Spurs “Silver Saturday” adidas Jersey. Even if someone does not win a jersey, fans will still win a prize courtesy of Academy Sports & Outdoors just for scratching their card.

For the first time as the NBA’s official uniform and apparel provider, adidas will be the exclusive supplier of the Hardwood Classic Nights on-court merchandise providing the teams with uniforms, retro inspired warm-ups, shooting shirts, headbands and wristbands. The Spurs “Silver Saturday” adidas Jerseys will be available exclusively at the AT&T Center Fan Shop (Open Mon. - Sat. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and also on game nights) until after the NBA All-Star Break.

Over the past five seasons, 25 NBA teams have participated in Hardwood Classic Nights.
