Tony Parker
On Pop not wanting them to lose focus - He wants us to react well after our first win. He wants to make sure we don’t come out flat and don’t play like the second half we had (in Game 1).
On losing focus - It’s hard to focus when you’re up 30. You try to do the same things and be very aggressive, but at the same time they (the Sonics) played a little bit better too.
We just have to make sure we don’t give them any hope, any confidence and just play the same way, aggressive and take care of the transition and the boards and I think we’ll be ok.
On Game 2 adjustments - “We just want to try to be perfect. We don’t want to have quarters where we let them score like 30 points. We just have to make sure we play the same D.” |
