On the game - “I didn’t expect to get the lead that we got during the game but sometimes that happens. They had a night they could not knock it down and on another night they would probably make a lot more. Shooting is a big part of it and tonight we just shot a little better then they did.”
On Bruce Bowen - I don’t know anybody who would want to guard Baron Davis for more than a minute and a half and I thought he did a great job. Ron Mercer and Devin Brown gave us a really big lift off the bench offensively giving us some really big shots for us. I thought those three were really huge for us.”
On Baron Davis - “He is playing as well or better then anybody in the league right now without any doubt. There are about five, six, seven guys who are playing really great and having great seasons and he is definitely one of them.”
On the game - “We played some pretty good defense tonight. We stopped Baron Davis. Bruce (Bowen) did a good job on him. We had some shots from the outside. I missed a lot of wide open shots. Hedo (Turkolu) and Ron mercer hit some big shots for us.”
On the game - “When you are guarding someone like Baron Davis, you have to pay attention to every little detail. I wanted to be a pest. I wanted to make him shoot over my length and not give him a lot of uncontested threes.”
On the game - “The good to the game was our defense. We were good with our hands and we defended the ball well. We contested every shot baron (Davis) took. Everybody all a great job on defense.”
