On February 4th, Frost Bank and the San Antonio Spurs presented the second speaker forum of the season, prior to the Spurs vs. Timberwolves game that evening. This Frost Bank Speaker Series gave many Spurs fans the opportunity to learn more about the Spurs new home beginning in fall 2002, the SBC Center, through Spurs Chairman Peter Holt.

Holt first narrated a slide show depicting images of the new arena, which was concluded with a question and answer session with the audience.

Following Holt's presentation, Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich conducted a "Chalk Talk" to discuss the approach the team would take for that evening's game against Minnesota. Pop added his own touch to the discussion during the question and answer session, when he joked about his leadership style and the team.

The next Frost Bank Speaker Series will be held at 6:30 p.m. on February 26th prior to the Spurs vs. Suns game. The event will feature Drayton McLane, owner of the Houston Astros. McLane will discuss his inheritance of the team, and their success since his purchase. Following McLane, a member of the Spurs coaching staff will give a brief Chalk Talk.

The Frost Bank Speaker Series are free to anyone with a game ticket. Special giveaways are featured for all participants at each event.
