Spurs Set to Host Open Scrimmage on Oct. 6

The Free Event is the First Chance to Check Out the 2013-14 Spurs Squad

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Spurs set to host Open Scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 6. at 2 p.m.

The San Antonio Spurs are inviting fans to the AT&T Center for the Open Scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 6. The free event featuring a Spurs intra-squad scrimmage is a unique opportunity for fans to see the 2013-14 Spurs team in action before the first home preseason game on Oct. 9 vs. CSKA Moscow of the Russian League.

The event will be hosted by Spurs broadcaster Sean Elliott and will feature appearances by The Coyote and Silver Dancers. The Open Scrimmage will have open seating on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the lower bowl.

Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and the scrimmage will tip-off at 2:00 p.m. All fans in attendance can fill up on $1 hot dogs and $1 drinks, while supplies last, and take advantage of 20 percent off at the fan shop, plus special ticket offers available exclusively at Open Scrimmage. In addition, fans will have a chance to win the players’ practice jerseys following the scrimmage.
