San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili Hosts Reddit Ask Me Anything

Ginobili will be the First NBA Player to Participate in a reddit AMA on March 23

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will be the first NBA player to participate in reddit’s “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) when he hosts an online Q&A on Saturday, March 23 at 4:30 p.m. CT. Home to more than 50 million unique visitors a month, reddit users create, discuss, and discover great content and information online.

Currently in his 11th season with the Spurs, Ginobili is a three-time NBA Champion, a two-time All-Star and has earned All-NBA honors twice. Prior to joining the Silver and Black, Ginobili played professionally in Italy and was named the Italian League MVP twice and the Euroleague Finals MVP while leading Virtus Bologna to the Euroleague Championship in 2001.

A native of Argentina, Ginobili has played for the Argentinean National Team since 1998. He helped guide Argentina to a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics. Ginobili is one of only two players (Bill Bradley being the other) to win an Olympic gold medal, an NBA Championship and a Euroleague Championship.

Those wanting to participate in the AMA session simply need to create a reddit account and submit their questions just before 4:30 p.m. CT on March 23.

The Spurs will be the first NBA team to have a player participate in an AMA. Other notable reddit AMA participants include Barack Obama, Roger Goodell, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Gates and Anthony Bourdain.
