Online Auction Held for Final Tux ‘N Tennies Table

SAN ANTONIO – Silver & Black Give Back, the nonprofit partner for Spurs Sports & Entertainment’s family of teams, will celebrate 25 years of giving back to the community at the annual Tux ‘N Tennies Gala, presented by H-E-B and SWBC, on March 9. The premier fundraiser for Silver & Black Give Back’s youth programs is sold out and the RK Group has donated their table to be auctioned off online. Held at the AT&T Center for the first time, Silver & Black Give Back’s fundraising event will feature franchise players, coaches and executives in tuxedoes, gowns and tennis shoes enjoying an unparalleled evening of celebration as well as the musical stylings of indie soul crooner Mayer Hawthorne.
The live auction items for this year’s Tux ‘N Tennies include: use of Spurs Sports & Entertainment Chairman and CEO Peter Holt’s private plane, a Northstar Dodge truck customized by Tim Duncan’s BlackJack Speed shop and a cameo appearance in the SWBC and H-E-B commercials featuring your favorite Spurs Sports & Entertainment personalities. The silent auction will also feature exclusive Spurs player experiences and premium items donated by community partners.
Silver & Black Give Back is a 501(c)(3) public charity that invests in the community in partnership with the entire Spurs Sports & Entertainment family of teams. Entering its 25th year, the nonprofit was originally created in 1988, when there was only one team in the SS&E family and was historically known as the Spurs Foundation.
