(On the turnovers in the game…)
"It definitely hurt us. Too many turnovers against a good team like that. (We) cannot play like that."
(On Tony Parker's struggling play in the past two games…)
"We didn't play very well tonight. You have to give them credit. I just tried to be aggressive, tried to get to the free throw line and tried to make stuff happen."
(On the confidence of the Spurs to win in Oklahoma City…)
"You have to win on the road if you want to win a championship. We have a great challenge in front of us and it is going to be hard but I know we have a good team that can do it."
(On the Spurs starting Manu Ginobili…)
"Manu (Ginobili) was very aggressive from the get-go. He had a good rhythm tonight. Hopefully he can keep it going for Game 6."
(On how the Thunder have disrupted the Spurs game plan…)
"It is basketball. It happens. Now we have to try to stay together and make sure we bring it on Game 6."
(On the Thunder forcing the Spurs into too many turnovers…)
"They are very long and very athletic. Right now they are playing good defense."
(On the stretches the Spurs had throughout the game…)
"First and foremost, you have to give them credit. They are a heck of a team and very talented. They made some very tough shots when they had to. And they execute their stuff. On top of that we made some runs as well. We played good for stretches and that wasn't good enough. We got a lead there and let them back in it. It was too much back and forth and not enough consistent play from us."
(On the adjustments necessary for Game 6…)
"I think we really played well for stretches. I think we did a good job on those guys. We made them move the ball. They had some guys hit some big shots for them. James (Harden's) three when they are up two is a huge one for them. Kevin (Durant) hit some unbelievable ones that were just great shots. I think we have the right game plan. We just need to play a little better for a little longer."
(On Manu Ginobili getting the start…)
"We needed him in the starting line-up. He played great in that situation. Obviously he got a couple more minutes than he usually does. He was able to really get rolling. We needed him in the starting line-up and it will be good for us."
(On the Spurs fourth quarter line-up late in the game…)
"We had some good defensive plays with that crew. We moved the ball well. We made some shots. It was a good stretch there. We just need to be a little more consistent for a longer period of time."
(When asked about the play at the near the end of the game… what was the play designed for Manu Ginobili to do…)
"It depended on how Manu (Ginobili) felt when he got the ball."
(When asked what are your thoughts on the game…)
"In a nut shell, we have to go win one on the road. There's not really nothing else to say. We just have to get one on the road. They (Thunder) played like a championship team and won one on the road and we have to return the favor point blank."
(When asked if he like the response of the Spurs after losing Game 4…)
"We didn't win. So regardless it didn't matter to me. We just have to find a way to get a win on the road just like they did. James Harden hit a big shot, a real big shot. I can say we played hard in the second half. I don't like to say that, but we did. James Harden hit a big shot. We just have to get one on the road."
(When asked what has to change…)
"We have to win. We are doing a lot of things. A lot of guys are giving a lot of effort. We are doing a lot of good things. We just have to find a way to win the game. I think we'll do that next game."
(When asked about the 21 turnovers the Spurs had tonight…)
"Some of those turnovers we can deal with them. When our key guys have the ball and they are trying to make a play, they might make a turnover now or then. That's something you have to live with. We had some unforced turnovers. We could take care of the ball a little bit more would help. Our stars do a lot of us, so when we get a couple of turnovers we can live with that."
(When asked about the defense on Kevin Durant tonight…)
"I just tried to make it tough on him. We did get the ball out of his hands. You have to credit James Harden. Like I said, he made a real big shot, it's probably the biggest shot of his career so far. Like I said, we have to focus, buckle down and get this next one."
(When asked other than Manu Ginobili it seemed like the rest of the Spurs didn't have an offensive flow…)
"I think their length has disturbed us a little bit. We had a lot of shots, but turnovers killed us and took our momentum a little bit. Their defense has been great enough to win games. So you have to give props where props are do."
(When asked if we are seeing a Thunder team come to age and do you feel like you can still win the series …)
"Oh I definitely believe, (we can win the series) you know me. I'm not submitting to nothing. We are going to win this game, we half to. If they can do it, we can do it. I'll give them their props. They came in and did what they were supposed to do. They're a great young team, but we have to do the same thing. I'm not counting us out."
(On how impressive tonight's win was for the team…)
"It was what we needed and there was no other option. They are a very good team at home and them losing here during the postseason is important. We knew we had to come out with the same focus and intensity that we came out with at home and I thought we did a very good job with that."
(On the three pointer he hit late in the fourth quarter…)
"The play was for Kevin (Durant) and the shot clock was going down, that is why I had to make a play. I think Kawhi Leonard was playing very good defense on me and I just had to make a shot. I just went back to my mechanics and shot the ball with confidence and it went in."
(On how much this team has grown to win a game like this…)
"A lot. There are times in this game where we could have folded. They went on a run, we were up nine in the third quarter and they went on a run and took the lead. We could have folded, but we are family so we stick together and stuck with it. These guys have grown. We have all grown and come together and that is what makes us so special."
(On being one win away from the NBA Finals…)
"Stay humbled. We are a humble group of guys from top to bottom and we just have to put in the work tomorrow and focus on Game 6, on what we need to do and then go in there and execute. We can't go in there and rely on our home crowd just because we have not lost there. They are not going to lay down, so we have to be ready to execute."
(What was the big difference from Games 1 and 2 and the past three games…)
"Well I'm not an analyst, so I'm not going to try to breakdown all the different things that have happened, but we are just taking it one game at a time. We did not get too low or too down on ourselves when we lost a game and we are not getting overly excited or too high emotionally after winning a game. We are just showing up the next night to play and try to give ourselves a chance to win."
(On being able to take the Spurs out of their game…)
"It is easy to try and give us all the credit, but there are times that things just have to go your way. They missed some shots that they are capable of missing and there are a lot of times out there where plays can go either way with loose balls or offensive rebounds. We are just trying to play our game and we are not as focused on trying to be perfect against them because that is not possible. They are a great team.
(On the Thunder's mindset going forward…)
"We are just trying to be who we are. We have to figure out a way to win another game for all of this to make sense."
(On being over confident knowing that The Finals are one win away…)
"It is the first team to four wins, so there really isn't anything to celebrate or get happy about until you win the series. This team made it to the Conference Finals last year and I don't think anybody was happy with the final result, so who cares if we are up three to two now. If we do not finish our business, it does not mean anything and that has to be our mentality going into it."
On the team's composure in this game...)
"We've been through a lot of tough games and that prepared us for tonight's game. We know how good San Antonio is, so it's important for us to hold our composure and take it play-by-play. We know how important it was that they were going to make a run, but we just had to stay composed."
(On the team's confidence going back home for Game 6...)
"There's a lot of confidence. We get to go back home and play in front of our crowd who has been behind us through it all. It's important for us to continue to play the way we have been playing the past few games."
(On what confidence he gained by knocking down consecutive crucial shots...)
"We had confidence the whole game. Always as a player, when your teammates pass you the ball, it just lets you know that they have confidence in you. I always have confidence in myself. It's important every shot that I shoot that I have confidence in myself to knock it down. That's what happened. The team that always has confidence and not just in me but any player we put out there and it's just been going that way the whole series."
