Spurs Host Free Open Scrimmage Monday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m.

First 1,000 fans get free NBA 'BIG Things Are Coming' t-shirts

SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs invite all fans to UNITE at the AT&T Center for the team’s FREE Open Scrimmage on Monday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. The intra-squad scrimmage will be the first opportunity for fans to see the Spurs at home before the Dec. 21st home preseason game.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE NBA ‘BIG Things Are Coming’ t-shirt. Seating is open on a first-come-first-serve basis throughout the lower bowl. In addition, the first 75 fans that bring a new blanket to donate to the Baseline Bums Blanket Drive will get the opportunity to meet Spurs forward/center DeJuan Blair following the scrimmage.

All fans in attendance can fill up on $1 hot dogs and $1 drinks, while supplies last, and take advantage of a 20% discount on merchandise at the FANSHOP. The Spurs Silver Dancers will perform during the open scrimmage, and The Coyote will provide his usual entertainment throughout the evening.

Following the scrimmage, all fans are encouraged to stay for the first-annual Silver & Black Give Back High School Mascot Challenge. The top high school mascots in San Antonio will take center stage in a competition that includes dancing, physical activity and school spirit. The winning mascot will receive $1000 courtesy of H-E-B and Silver & Black Give Back, an opportunity to shadow The Coyote at a Spurs game and a visit from The Coyote to their school.

Spurs individual tickets for games through Feb. 4 will go on sale on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. H-E-B Fan Zone tickets start at $10. Season ticket plans, starting at $70, are available now by calling (210) 444-5050. Individual tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster Ticket Center locations, charge by phone at (210) 225-TEAM, or online at ticketmaster.com or spurs.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or on weekend event days starting at 10 a.m.
