Highlights
Two down, two to go. The San Antonio Spurs are halfway to
a fourth title and a chance to state their case as an NBA
dynasty. Tony Parker scored 30 points, Manu Ginobili had 25 and Tim
Duncan added 23 as the Spurs schooled Cleveland in championship
basketball for 3 1/2 quarters, overpowering the Cavaliers
103-92 in Game 2 on Sunday night to take a 2-0 lead in the
NBA Finals. |

Robert Horry
may have to take on a new moniker after his stellar defensive
performance in Game 2. Big Swat Rob blocked five Cavalier
shots to go along with a stat box filling five points, nine
rebounds and four assists. The only area that he fell short
was in an attempt to make a steal. Late in the fourth quarter
Horry poked the ball loose from Anderson Varejao and then
crashed into Coach Popovich and the scorer's table in an
effort to create a turnover. |

The
Spurs were able to hold the lead practically the entire game.
There was only one lead change and that was after Cleveland
started the game with the opening bucket followed by a 7-0
Spurs run.

“Rob
for some reason failed to tell us that he can play defense. It’s
playoff Rob and he’ll show up and do something special and that’s
what he did tonight.”
- Tim Duncan on Robert Horry.
