Tim Duncan and Tony Parker are making the Western Conference finals look way too easy.

Duncan had 26 points and 14 rebounds, and Parker lived up to his pledge of giving the Utah Jazz "no hope'' by sinking all six of his first-half shots, helping the San Antonio Spurs build a big halftime lead that turned into a 105-96 victory in Game 2 of the series Tuesday night.

Parker finished with 17 points and 14 assists, his most ever in a playoff game. Manu Ginobili added 17 points as the Spurs took a 2-0 lead, moving halfway to reaching the NBA finals for the third time in five years.

“Our three point shooting was key. They (Utah) forced us to make shots and down the stretch, everyone, well everyone but Robert Horry, came up huge and hit big baskets when we needed them.”

It is no easy task building a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals, but the Spurs now travel to Energy Solutions Arena - where the Jazz have yet to lose in this postseason. San Antonio is well aware of the Jazz win streak, but they have three days off to prepare for the challenge. Bruce Bowen summed it up this way:

"Rest is a beautiful thing. It allows us to regroup and prepare because we undertsand going there is so much more difficult than some of the other places we have been. So we have to rest up, get your bodies right, because we know it's going to be physical over there."
