After leading early in the first quarter the Spurs found themselves playing from behind most of the night. With a come-from-behind performance by the Suns on Monday night it was only fitting that the Spurs would display some second half magic of their own in Game 5.

The Spurs surged in the second half, outscoring Phoenix 55-41. Manu Ginobili had his best performance of the 2007 Playoffs with a 26-point, 10-rebound effort, scoring 18 in the second half.

Tim Duncan earned a double-double of his own with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Michael Finley and Tony Parker completed the double digit scorers for the Spurs with 13 and 11 points, respectively. Bruce bowen scored nine points including a three pointer with 38 seconds remaing to put the Spurs ahead for good.

The Buzz

The Spurs trailed by as many as 16 points in the game, but had the answer in the fourth quarter. The Spurs outscored the Suns 32-23 in the final period, mounting a 17-6 run to grab a 3-2 series lead.
