The Spurs were unable to cool down the hot shooting Suns in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Tuesday night in Phoenix.

Tim Duncan led all scorers with 29 points and 11 rebounds but the Suns were able to answer by shooting 53 percent from the field as a team and with five players scoring in double digits.

Rounding out the scoring for the Spurs in double figures were Tony Parker with 13, Bruce Bowen with 13 and Michael Finley finished with 11.

The Suns' Amare Stoudemire led his team with 27 points and Steve Nash contributed 20 with 16 assists.

When the Spurs return to San Antonio for a tie-breaking game 3, they will be glad to be in front of a rowdy crowd in the AT&T Center.

The Spurs shot 42% in game 2 and were held to 14 assists, but they averaged 48% shooting and 22 assists at home during the regular season.
