The Spurs took the lead midway through the first quarter in Wednesday's game and never looked back defeating the Nuggets 97-88.

On his birthday, Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Michael Finley, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker rounded out the double digit scorers for the Spurs with 14, 17 and 20 respectively.

Ginobili scored 15 points on 5 of 8 shooting in the second half. Also coming off the bench, Fabricio Oberto led the team with 10 rebounds and also contributed eight points.
