Spurs Summer League by the Numbers

1 – This is the first year the Las Vegas Summer League will be using a tournament style format. Each team will play three games and will then be seeded 1-22. The top 10 teams will get a bye and teams 11-22 will play each other. The winners will continue to advance until a champion is crowned on Monday, July 22.

2 – This is the second consecutive year Cory Joseph has participated in the Las Vegas Summer League. Last year he averaged 17.0 points, 5.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.80 steals in 33.0 minutes in five games and was named a Summer League All-Star  

5 – The Spurs went a perfect 5-0 during the 2010 Las Vegas Summer League.

6 – This is the sixth year San Antonio has participated in the Las Vegas Summer League.

15 – Aron Baynes pulled down 15 rebounds vs. Atlanta on July 15, 2013, the most by a Spurs player in Las Vegas Summer League action since the Silver and Black started participating in 2007.

17 – In the 2010 Las Vegas Summer League Gary Neal shot .500 from three-point range making 17-of-34 three pointers.

22 – Number of teams participating in the Las Vegas Summer League in 2013

27 – The Spurs handed out 27 assists in a 96-87 win over Atlanta on July 15, 2013, which tied a Las Vegas Summer League record for most assists in a game.

.583 – The Spurs winning percentage (14-10) in Las Vegas Summer League action heading into this year’s competition.
