Music Time-Out with Coach "B"

The band took in a Spurs preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers in Mexico City.

Arcade Fire recently took home The Album of the Year Grammy for their album The Suburbs, beating out artists such as Eminem and Lady Gaga. Although the band is based out of Montreal, frontman Win Butler grew up in the suburbs of Houston and is a huge Rockets fan (sorry Spurs fans!). Also, Win has been known to play a little round ball. In fact, it's rumored that his jump shot is almost as good as his music...

Coach "B" had the opportunity to ask Win some questions about basketball before the season started this year. Let's see what he had to say.

Coach "B": Who was your favorite team growing up and who was your favorite player?

Win: I grew up in Houston Texas during the 1990's, so Hakeem was my player and the Rockets were my team.  Hakeem going off on David Robinson the night David was awarded the MVP might have to be the best individual performance I have ever seen.

Coach "B": Who do you think will win the NBA Championship this year?

Win: I have to give it to the Celtics this year...I think they have the legs for one more great run...I do have to say the Spurs are about my only hope in the west to knock the lakers out.

Coach "B": Who is currently your favorite player?

Win: It is such a great time for point guards, but I would have to say Chris Paul and Rondo...there is nothing more fun to watch then a great point guard running a team the way it is meant to be run.

Coach "B": Which Arcade Fire song is best to get pumped up before a game?

Win: Believe it or not I don't listen to my own music...I usually listen to The Clash on the way to a game.

Coach "B": Do you consider poutine a good choice for a pre-game meal?

Win: Poutine before a game would be a really bad idea....it is more 3 AM food.
