Question: What does your number 33 stand for and are you going to keep that number with the Spurs?
Jack McClinton: I wear 33 because my dad wore 33 when he was in college. I actually had 33 and 32, I wore 32 when I was at Siena and got 33 when I transferred to Miami someone already had 32 so I went up and got 33.

Question: Have you seen the Spurs the last few years? Are you aware that now you have fans all over Argentina and France? How do you respond to that?
Jack McClinton: It's funny because I got a Twitter page and all the fans on there and everyone showing me a lot of love. It's just a great organization and city with loyal fans. It's a big difference having fans all over the world, you know in Miami it was a big city but basketball isn't really as big there.

Question: Hey Jack, welcome to the Spurs! My question is: The Spurs' backcourt is already one of the best in the league. What unique skills will you add to the amazing group that's already in place?
Jack McClinton: Being a knock-down shooter, I can shoot the ball - but also on defense I'll look to bring the intensity on the defensive end.

Question: I know you are small for your position, but do you think you can guard bigger regular-sized shooting guards?
Jack McClinton: I'm not a shooting guard. I'm a guard and with Ginobili coming in sometimes to run the point he can guard the two and I can guard the point guard. So you never know really until you get out here on the court to see how things are going to pan out.

Question: Welcome to San Antonio and this is a great city to live in and we are the greatest fans in the NBA. Me and my friend were ecstatic that you and DeJaun were drafted by the Spurs. What do you think are the strengths of your game and what do you think the coaches will have you work more on?
Jack McClinton: My strengths are scoring the basketball. Coach will probably work with me on off the ball defense, just being in the right spots. I know every team has different defensive schemes that I'll have to get used to from leaving Miami.

Jack McClinton: I just want to learn, listen and try to learn everyday at practice. Work hard everyday and come before and stay after.

Question: First let me say that you are one heckuva shooter. When you first started shooting a basketball, was it something that felt natural? Or was it something you had to work harder than most to develop?
Jack McClinton: I think it was just natural. When I was younger I had a court in my driveway and I was always outside shooting basketball. Sometimes being smaller you have to do something great and I just always shot and that's what I loved to do.

Jack McClinton: I've tried to take a little bit of everything from everyone. Gilbert Arenas, Chauncey Billups, a thousand players I would try to take everything from. You can't just be good at one thing so I try to take everyone's stuff.
