Kawhi Leonard Visits Elementary School

San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard joined Spurs Director of Athletic Performance Matt Herring to lead a fit clinic for Team Up Challenge students at Carson Elementary School. The students are working to get their community more active, through Fit Minute Fridays that are broadcast throughout the school and Family Fitness Fridays that are hosted once a month.

2012-2013 Team Up Challenge Semi-Finalists

Danny Green brushed off his acting skills with Team Up Challenge students at MacArthur High School. Green filmed three anti-bullying skits with the group, who will use the footage in presentations to local elementary and middle schools to encourage students to stand up and use their voice when they see bullying.

Silver & Black Give Back announced the three champions of the 2012 Summer Team Up Challenge, presented by AT&T. The ARC of San Antonio, Destination Imagination and Wreaths Across America will each receive $10,000 for their students' work to improve our community this summer.

San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green spent an afternoon with summer Team Up Challenge kids from SA Youth, learning about the importance of reusing and recycling materials. SA Youth is one of 10 semi-finalists in the 2012 summer Team Up Challenge, presented by AT&T. The group raced to see who could build the tallest tower out of recycled items and competed in other games.
