Oberto Visits The Ronald McDonald House
He may not be a doctor, but Spurs forward Fabricio Oberto might just have had the perfect prescription of some fun and laughter for the children at a local Ronald McDonald House.
Oberto recently spent time with children and their families from three San Antonio Ronald McDonald Houses. While Oberto was there, he participated in various activities with the children and pose for pictures with the families. Ronald McDonald Houses provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. San Antonio is one of the few cities in the world to have three Ronald McDonald Houses. In 2002, San Antonio’s CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital opened the first Ronald McDonald House within the walls of a hospital. |
