Oberto Makes, Bakes And Breaks Bread With Students

Oberto met Ricky Ortiz and his entire class at the Mrs Baird’s Bakery where together they toured the facility and learned the basics of baking Mrs Baird’s bread. To make the visit even more special, the students were invited to make their own Mrs Baird’s hamburger buns that they later enjoyed eating at the end of the tour and took the leftovers home with them to share with their families.

San Antonio area students from 1st to 3rd grades were encouraged to work with their teachers and parents to enter the “What Ingredients Make You Special?” contest. It was a local partnership effort between Mrs Baird’s and the Spurs to reinforce the values of education and teamwork, through a fun and memorable experience.
