In her 20th year with the Spurs … named senior vice president/finance and corporate administration in 2008 … responsible for all financial operations and reporting, cash management, related tax matters and insurance risk management for Spurs Sports and Entertainment … added oversight responsibilities in the areas of human resources, employee development and corporate administration, as well as the operations and facilities management of the AT&T Center … spent seven seasons as the team’s controller … was named vice president of finance in the summer of 2000 … was heavily involved in all financial aspects of the AT&T Center development project and opening in 2002 … prior to joining the Spurs worked in the audit department for KPMG Peat Marwick in Dallas and San Antonio … a Certified Public Accountant with a degree in accounting from Texas A&M … played one season of varsity tennis for the Aggies … selected as a member of the 2007–08 Leadership San Antonio Class 33 … a 2007 recipient of the San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award… a member of the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Bexar County … in 2011, named as one of San Antonio’s Best CFOs by the San Antonio Business Journal… an active volunteer with her children’s school and sports activities … she and husband, Garren, have two sons, Chandler and Trevor.
