Eligibility: The Verizon Wireless One-on-One with the TNT Crew Sweepstakes (“Promotion”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Verizon Wireless (“Sponsor”), NBA Media Ventures, LLC, NBA Properties, Inc., the National Basketball Association and its member teams, Turner Network Television LP, LLLP (“TNT”), Enpocket, Inc., and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, governors, owners, partners, assignees, advertising/promotion agencies (including agents involved in this Promotion), and Project Support Team, Inc. (“PST”) (collectively “Released Parties”) and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouces) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. military installations in foreign countries, anywhere outside the U.S., and where prohibited by law.

Daily Entry Periods & Promotion Period: Every Thursday for 18 weeks, beginning on 12/16/04 and ending on 4/14/05, TNT will telecast The NBA On TNT featuring two NBA games. Each of the 18 Daily Entry Periods begin at the 12:00:00PM Eastern Time (“ET”) and end at 10:00:00 PM ET prior to the commencement of the second NBA game telecast (individually “Daily Entry Periods” and collectively the “Promotion Period”). In the event that a The NBA On TNT game is canceled, suspended (and not resumed) or preempted for any reason, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, elect to substitute said game with another game scheduled to be telecast on The NBA On TNT during the Promotion Period or to not substitute said game.

How to Enter:
A.) To enter using Verizon Wireless text messaging.
1.) Text Message Opt-In: If you are a Verizon Wireless service subscriber with text messaging service, a two-way capable handset, and digital service, in order to opt-in and participate in the Promotion via text message, participants must send a text message from a Verizon Wireless handset, type “TNT” (“868”) in the “To” field and “NBA” in the “Message” field between 12:00:00PM ET on 12/16/04 and 9:50:00PM ET on 4/14/05. Within approximately two minutes of sending the text message, participant will be sent an opt-in confirmation text message on their handset. Participant need opt-in only once for the duration of the Promotion Period; and
2.) Participants who opt-in in accordance with the above instructions will be sent a The NBA On TNT Game Message (“Message”) on their handset via text message at the conclusion of the 2nd Quarter of the first NBA game telecast for each Daily Entry Period. Participants must respond to the Message by text message during the applicable Entry Period (received by 10:00:00PM ET) and select (from the choices offered) the NBA team whom they believe will win the second game telecast on The NBA On TNT that night (the “second NBA Game”). Participants will receive one entry into the Daily Entry Period drawing if they correctly identify the winning team of that entry period’s second NBA Game.

Participant will be charged for any text message that originates from or is received by his/her handset according to the terms in his/her Calling Agreement and Rate Plan with Verizon Wireless. Text messaging and Verizon Wireless service are not available in all areas.

B.) To enter online. If you are not a Verizon Wireless service subscriber or you are a Verizon Wireless service subscriber and do not wish to enter via the above method, visit www.NBA.com during the applicable Daily Entry Period and fully complete the entry form and select (from the choices offered) the NBA team whom you believe will win that entry period’s second NBA Game. Selections must be received by 10:00:00PM ET. You will receive one entry into the Daily Entry Period drawing if you correctly identify the winning team of the applicable second NBA Game as determined by the NBA. Voting through this method is free. The use of any device which automates the entry process is prohibited. Limit one entry per person/MTN or email address during each respective Daily Entry Period, regardless of method of entry. Additional text messages or entries received from any such person/MTN or email address thereafter will be void.

Grand Prize Drawing: The NBA On TNT broadcast team (“broadcast team”) will also select the NBA team whom they believe will win the second NBA Game for each applicable Daily Entry Period. If the broadcast team selects incorrectly for any Daily Entry Period, all participants who have selected the NBA team correctly and received an entry in that respective Daily Entry Period will also automatically receive one entry in the Grand Prize drawing.

In the event that the broadcast team selects the winning NBA team of each second NBA Game correctly for all (18) Daily Entry Periods, all participants who have received an entry in any Daily Entry Period will also automatically receive one entry in the Grand Prize drawing.

All entries will become the property of Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, mutilated, invalid, unintelligible, late, garbled, delayed, undelivered or misdirected messages, entries, votes, or submissions; theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

Additional Terms: In the event that a participating The NBA On TNT game is canceled, suspended (and not resumed) or preempted for any reason, the respective Daily Prize may not be awarded. Released Parties are not responsible for failures or malfunctions of phones (including wireless phones/handsets), phonelines, other communications malfunctions, unavailable network connections, cellular equipment towers, telephone systems or wireless service; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or wireless phone/handset related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion; Verizon Wireless’ text messaging service or two-way capable handsets used to enter the Promotion or make a team selection by text messaging during any portion of the Promotion); the cancellation, suspension or preemption of games, injuries or other unavailability of players; the preemption of TNT programming; tabulation errors or other problems or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise.

Winner Selection/Odds: Daily Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing within three days following the applicable Daily Entry Period from among all eligible entries received for the applicable Daily Entry Period. Entries from one Daily Entry Period will not “roll-over” into subsequent Daily Entry Periods. .Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing within seven days following the end of the Promotion Period from among all eligible entries for this drawing (see above for details) received for the entire Promotion Period. All winner selections will be conducted by PST, an independent judging organization whose decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. Odds of winning a Daily Prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received correctly identifying the winning NBA team of the second NBA Game for the applicable Daily Entry Period. Odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on the number of eligible Grand Prize entries received during the Promotion Period. Winners will be notified by telephone (Mobile telephone number (MTN) and/or daytime phone number), text message, mail and/or email. Prizes will be awarded to the Authorized Verizon Wireless MTN holder or named person on online entry form regardless of whether that is the name of the Verizon Wireless account holder or email address from which said entry was submitted. If participant enters by text messaging, he/she must have a valid Verizon Wireless MTN. In the case of a dispute as to the identity of a participant, entry will be declared made by the Authorized Account Holder of the MTN. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned a MTN by Verizon Wireless or as shown on Verizon Wireless’ records. Limit one Daily Prize per person, MTN, email address for the Promotion Period.

Prizes: (1) Grand Prize: A 3-day/2-night trip for two to one NBA Finals 2005 game designated by Sponsor consisting of round-trip coach air transportation from major US gateway airport nearest to winner’s residence in the U.S. to the city of game location, standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations, ground transportation to/from the airport and the applicable hotel, and two tickets to the game (Approximate Retail Value "ARV"=$3,000). Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Travel and accommodation restrictions apply. Travel and hotel arrangements must be made through Sponsor’s agent and will be determined by Sponsor. Meals are not included. Trip must be taken on dates and times designated by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner. If NBA Finals 2005 game chosen by Sponsor is canceled or postponed for any reason, travel prize will be awarded less tickets to game which Sponsor will substitute with an item(s)/activity(s) of equal or greater value as determined solely by Sponsor. Tickets are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by issuer. Exact seat locations to be determined by Sponsor. Prizes won by minor under the law of his/her state of residence will be awarded in the name of the minor's parent/legal guardian. Winner & his/her traveling companion will be required to travel together on the same itinerary, and minor traveling companion (if any) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. (18) Daily Prizes/(1) Daily Prize Per Daily Entry Period: NBA Fleece (ARV=$60 each). Fleece size awarded to be determined by Sponsor. Total ARV of all prizes=$4,080.

Restrictions: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prizes (or portion thereof) except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability, and then for a prize (or applicable portion thereof) of equal or greater value. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Federal, state and local taxes and all other costs and expenses not specified herein are winners’ sole responsibility, including, without limitation, additional ground transportation, meals and gratuities.

Miscellaneous: Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (unless prohibited by law) Publicity Release within seven days of issuance of notification. Grand Prize winner’s traveling companion (if a minor (under the law of his/her state of residence), his/her parent or legal guardian) will also be required to sign and return a Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release prior to the issuance of travel documents. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing or these Official Rules may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If any prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable, winner will be disqualified and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected. Grand Prize winner and his/her traveling companion agree to comply with all NBA and team arena rules and regulations relating to the use of NBA game tickets and, in accordance therewith, agree not to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with any intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at such game. All prizes will be awarded.

Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to:

1.) Disqualify any person and void any entries of any person who it believes has tampered with the entry process, the operation of www.NBA.com, or any other component of this Promotion, whose conduct or actions affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness or proper conduct of this Promotion, or who is in violation of these Official Rules; and
2.) Modify, suspend or terminate this Promotion should viruses, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, including but not limited to war, strikes, and/or acts of God, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Promotion and, in the event of termination or suspension, at its discretion, award prizes from among eligible, non-suspect entries received for the applicable drawing as of the date of the event requiring such termination or suspension.

By participating in this Promotion, all text messaging entrants authorize Verizon Wireless to communicate with them by text messaging and authorize Verizon Wireless to provide Enpocket, Inc. with their text messaging and/or email address. 2.) Released Parties and their designees and assigns and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and advertising and promotion agents shall have no liability and will be released and held harmless from any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to winner or any third party or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize and any travel or prize activities related thereto or participation in this Promotion and from claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.
