Four months after being one of the Sonics last cuts in 2005 training camp, Noel Felix returned to the team, signing a 10-day contract on March 2, 2006. Something of a late bloomer, Felix has been able to translate his athleticism to the pro game following his college career at Fresno State that left him undrafted in 2003. After splitting 2003-04 between China and the CBA, Felix spent time with three teams in 2004-05, playing in Italy, the Philippines and the CBA. He was named to the CBA All-Defensive Team after averaging 15.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks for the Yakima Sun Kings. Felix played for the Sonics summer-league squad in the Rocky Mountain Revue in July 2005, averaging 8.2 points and 4.0 rebounds. Afterwards, he played for the USA Basketball World Championships qualifying team. He's a good athlete who has consistently excelled at the defensive end of the court.
