Sonics and FSN Northwest Announce Televison Schedule
August 30, 2006
SEATTLE - The Seattle SuperSonics and FSN Northwest announced today a 71-game schedule of live regular-season telecasts for the team’s 2006-07 campaign featuring two of the most recognizable names in team history calling the action. The “Voice of the Sonics” Kevin Calabro returns for his 20th campaign with the club and will team up with FSN color analyst Lenny Wilkens.

The combination of Calabro’s Sonics broadcast history of more than 1,500 broadcasts and Wilkens’ 46 years in the NBA as a coach, player and broadcaster will represent one of the sport’s most experienced duos behind the mike. Because Sonics broadcasts are no longer produced as simulcasts, the Calabro-Wilkens broadcast team will be seen and heard exclusively on FSN Northwest.

In addition to game telecasts, FSN will deliver 30 minutes of FSN Live before and after every game, the Sonics All Access weekly show and a host of team specials throughout the year. FSN is the destination for fans who want not only the games, but everything there is to know about the Sonics franchise from past to present.

The Sonics are scheduled to appear on national television eight times during the 2006-07 NBA season - three times on ESPN, twice on TNT and three times on NBA-TV.

New Sonics radio broadcast partner 770 AM KTTH will air all 82 regular-season games. David Locke, the fourth radio voice in the club’s 40-year history, will handle the play-by-play duties.
