SONICS TAKE SENE
With the 10th pick of the 2006 NBA Draft, the Sonics took Senegalese 7-footer Mouhamed Sene, who has a 7-9 wingspan and shot-blocking potential that has the team excited. In the second round, the Sonics selected UConn guard Denham Brown at pick 40 and Israeli guard Yotam Halperin with pick 53. Brown, Halperin and 2005 second-round pick Mickael Gelabale add to the Sonics depth. SUPERSONICS.COM's live blog with David Locke in the Sonics Draft Room and Kevin Pelton had all the news, analysis, storylines and reactions.
