Can SuperSonics strike twice? But, of course. The Sonics, one of the top teams in the late 1970's, reemerged in the 90's, after the turbulent 80's, as an NBA power behind players such as Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton and dynamic coach George Karl.

A franchise all-time scoring leader, a championship winner, a defensive specialist and a rare player/coach, Fred Brown, Jack Sikma, Nate McMillan and Lenny Wilkens have etched their names in the Sonics' history book and earned a permanent home for their jerseys in the KeyArena rafters.
