2004 Sixers Summer League
Minnesota Summer League Index Sixers Stats Photogallery Willie Green scored 18 points in the Sixers final Summer League game on Saturday to finish with a team best 19.3 points per game. Despite missing a game with a left knee contusion, the second-year player shot nearly 40 percent from the field, .391, including .385 from beyond the arc. Third-year man John Salmons averaged 14.8 points per game, while rookie Andre Iguodala averaged 10.8 points per game to go with team highs of 5.8 rebounds per game and nine total steals.
76ers forward Kyle Korver suffered a sprain of his Medial Collateral Ligament of his left knee during workouts on Monday, July 5. Korver did not travel with the team to Minnesota for Summer League games this week and will begin rehab immediately.
On July 4, Allen Iverson made a surprise appearance at the 76ers Summer Workouts, going through the entire workout. Iverson is healed and ready to go for the Olympics and the 2004-05 season. On Saturday, the Sixers reduced their Summer League roster to 12 players. The 76ers Rookies and Free Agents have just one workout on Monday in preparation for the 2004 Summer League in Minneapolis.
