In honor of Hip Hop's 10th birthday, the Classic Cake Company, with their Executive Chef Robert Bennet, created a six-foot tall birthday cake. To help celebrate his big day, Hip-Hop hosted several of his mascot friends from various professional and college teams including SWOOP from the Philadelphia Eagles, Mad Dog from the Philadelphia Wings, SocceRoo from the Philadelphia Kixx and many more!

The 76ers hosted the inaugural “Sound of Philadelphia Night, Featuring the Music of Gamble and Huff,” highlighted by a halftime performance by South Philadelphia native Chubby Checker. The evening’s festivities recognized the accomplishments of Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, the Grammy Award winning duo that has written and produced more than 175 gold and platinum records since 1964.

Harvey Pollack, the 76ers Director of Statistical Information, celebrated his 85th birthday at the Sixers-Lakers game on March 9. Pollack is the longest tenured employee in the NBA, having worked for the league since its inaugural 1946-47 season.

Sixers forward Kyle Korver was one of the invited guests at Donald Trump's "007 Birthday Bash" at the Trump Taj Mahal on May 20. The James Bond themed party celebrated Trump's 60th birthday.

The Ambassador of Sixers Basketball, World B. Free, was honored by the National Constitution Center on April 24 as a representative of the 76ers. The National Constitution Center's exhibit Sports: Breaking Records, Breaking Barriers will be in Philadelphia from May 26 through Aug. 20.

Katherine Vogt didn't win her game of H-O-R-S-E against Andre Iguodala, but the Sixers Charities auction winner got Iguodala's sneakers - signed of course.

The Lower Merion High School varsity basketball Team, which just recently won the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class AAAA State Championship, was honored at the Sixers game against the Boston Celtics on Apr. 7.

76ers center Samuel Dalembert hosted Haitian Night on Wednesday, April 5, when the Sixers hosted the Chicago Bulls to pay tribute to Philadelphia's Haitian community and also recognize Dalembert's $30,000 donation to Feed the Children. Free, Billy King, Kyle Korver, and Hip-Hop joined Ronald McDonald at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House on March 28 to present children from 26 local schools with a plaque commemorating their involvement in the 76ers Read for Ronald program. This year the initiative raised more than $90,000 for the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.

Philadelphia 76ers Forward Kyle Korver was honored in a ceremony put on by his former high school on Jan. 27. Pella High School retired Korver's high school uniform. The ceremony took place at the Kuyper Gym on the Central College campus in Iowa. Korver went to college at Creighton before joining the Sixers.

Philadelphia 76ers Forward Shavlik Randolph took some time to help teach kids the fundamentals of the game of basketball during a 76ers Basketball 101 event on Monday, Jan. 23. Randolph and 76ers Director of Player Development Doug Overton were at Sharon Hill Elementary School.

Sixers President Billy King stopped by Alex's Lemonade Stand on the Wachovia Center concourse during the Sixers-Celtics game on Jan. 13. The 76ers Hometown Hero Award is named after the Lemonade Stand's founder, Alex Scott.

Chris Brown sent hearts aflutter on Jan. 9 and packed the Cingular Pavilion for a halftime autograph session. Brown then performed for nearly 4,000 fans after the Sixers-Sonics tilt that night.

A couple of the Sixers Dancers took some time out of their busy schedule to teach some excited young ladies how to dance during an eight-year-old birthday party at the Barn in Lafayette Hill, PA.

Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins showed that he's a Sixers fan too when he was present to watch the team face the Golden State Warriors on Dec. 21, 2005. The Sixers will return home on Jan. 9 to face the Seattle Sonics.

While visiting the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the 76ers found an avid fan who was not short on opinions and advice for the team. She made quite an impression on the Sixers involved and is seen here with Todd MacCulloch, Kyle Korver, General Manager Billy King, Louis Williams, Hip-Hop, and Shavlik Randolph.

When the Miami Heat came to Philadelphia on Friday, Dec. 16, the Sixers battled the blistering cold outside and created a "South Beach" type feel by creating an in-door beach in the Wachovia Center's Cingular Pavilion. Here, three girls enjoy the make-shift tropical setting.

Former Sixers player and current Sixers Radio Announcer Todd MacCulloch, along with a few of the Sixers Dancers, made an appearance at Preston and Steve’s 9th Annual Camp Out for Hunger, broadcast by 93.3 WMMR, on Dec. 7. MacCulloch donated a pinball machine to whoever donated the most food for the day.

Wilfredo Amadeo and Tisha Vega, Sixers fans from Northeast Philadelphia, submit their 2005-06 All-Star ballots. The ballots highlight four Sixers: Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, Andre Iguodala, and Samuel Dalembert.

Miri Ben-Ari, the Hip-Hop Violinist, fills out her 2005-06 NBA All-Star Ballot. Ben-Ari performed the National Anthem and at halftime of the Sixers game against the Cavs on Nov. 19. The All-Star Ballot is highlighted by four 76ers, Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, Andre Iguodala, and Samuel Dalembert.

Smith startedas a messenger at teh Daily News in 1937 and has been continuously on the photo staff with the Daily News since 1962.

The PECO Energy building in downtown Philadelphia showed Passion. Pride. 76ers. The slogan was up from Oct. 30 - Nov. 1, leading up to the team's season opener against the Milwaukee Bucks.

After feeding rookie Louis Williams his birthday cake on Oct. 27, Andre Iguodala and Chris Webber proved that nobody is safe from their wrath and continued the trend with 4-year veteran Steven Hunter. The Sixers helped Hunter celebrate his 24th birthday after practice on Oct. 31.

76ers TV broadcaster Marc Zumoff was the Emcee for the annual Lupus Loop on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, to benefit the Lupus Foundation of America. Hip-Hop and Sixers Dancers also showed up to cheer on the participants in the 5K Run and Walk held at the Carousel House in Fairmount Park.

"I knew it was a setup. They looked too anxious; they looked too happy to celebrate it with me. I knew something was wrong." The Sixers helped Louis Williams celebrate his 19th birthday before the team left for San Antonio on Oct. 26. Chris Webber and Andre Iguodala said happy birthday to the rookie in their own way.

76ers Director of Player Personnel Doug Overton held a basketball clinic for the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands on Sept. 13. Overton was in South Carolina to help promote the 76ers preseason contest versus the San Antonio Spurs in a preseason exhibition game at the Colonial Center on October 12.

Kyle Korver holds the game day puck that the Philadelphia Flyers are taking on tour around Philadelphia to help count down to opening night. Korver represents Day 22 of 50.

Students take their best shot at the 76ers Pop-A-Shot at Temple University Ambler's Week of Welcome event on September 6, which helped welcome students back to class for the fall semester. It was part of the 76ers 2005 College Tour, which will make stops at various local campuses throughout the summer.

The 2005-06 Sixers Dancers took a moment for a group shot before the doors opened at Suede Lounge for their debut party on August 11. Each Dancer was formally introduced by Colby Colb from 103.9 The Beat. The evening included celebrity bartenders, signature drinks and specials, as well as raffles for Sixers prizes.

76ers President Billy King was a special guest at the Summer Hoops Tour held for season ticket holders on August 9. The tour is a high-energy, free basketball clinic stressing the fundamentals of the game. Each participant received instruction in the fundamentals of basketball as well as special giveaway items.

Jim Lynam talked to the media after joining the 76ers staff as an assistant coach on July 20. A veteran of more than 20 years in the NBA coaching ranks, Lynam's coaching resume includes 10 seasons as a head coach with three different teams - San Diego/L.A. Clippers (1983-85), Philadelphia 76ers (1987-92) and Washington Bullets (1995-97).

Ambassador of 76ers Basketball, World B. Free received the John Wanamaker Athletic Award on June 29 by the Philadelphia Sports Congress for his efforts in the community. The award is given each year to the "individual, business or organization that has done the most to contribute to the quality of life in Philadelphia through sports."

Sixers Dancers team captain Dayna takes pre-audition workshop particpants through a routine on June 18 at the Touch of Class Dance Studio in Broomall, Pa. Participants got a head start for the Sixers Dancers open auditions to be held Saturday, June 25.
