World B. Free was a guest speaker at the "Lawyers For A Day" program, hosted by the Philadelphia Bar Association. The program asissts students from the city who have an interest in pursuing a law career.
Hip-Hop was on hand for the tip-off to the 51st Annual Daisy Day Community Campaign to benefit patient care and family services at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on May 6.
Hip-Hop appeared at the Annual El Dia de los Ninos Festival on April 30. The activity is a Young Americans Youth Celebration in North Philadelphia.
Harvey Pollack, the 76ers Director of Statistical Information, and Hip-Hop visited the fifth grade class at Rolling Hills Elementary School in Holland, Pa., where Pollack talked about his career and the history of the 76ers.
Hip-Hop gets cozy with a teacher from JMT Elementary school in Mantua, NJ on April 26 as part of the Sixers Read to Achieve program.

On Thursday March 18th, 76er Ambassador of Basketball World B. Free (center) made an appearance to Camden County Technical High School's male M.E.N.T.O.R.S. (Males Empowering Nescient Teenagers On Respect & Self Discipline) program. During his visit, World shared his NBA experiences with the young men in addition to giving them advice on such topics as drugs, fatherhood, respect, and self-discipline.
Don't adjust your eyes. You are not seeing double. 76ers mascot Hip-Hop has appeared with a smaller version of himself at home games. Look for them to entertain at future games.
76ers President and General Manager Billy King got to try out Hip-Hop's new toy - a Segway. The two-wheeled, self-balancing personal transportation device is used by Hip-Hop to dart around the floor during time-outs at Sixers games.
None other than Sesame Street's Bert and Ernie checked in at the Sixers game on Saturday, March 7. They are appearing in Sesame Street Live which is running at the Wachovia Spectrum March 10-14.

Aaron McKie spent time shooting with 16-year-old Tiffany Allen after practice on March 3. Allen was being filmed by NBC 10 for a new segment called Wednesday's Child. The feature, which will start on March 24, aims to help children get adopted.
76ers Rookie Willie Green and Comcast SportsNet's Ron Burke help to tip off the "Rook For Books" drive. Fans are asked to bring a new or gently-used children’s book to 76ers home games in March.
76ers Director of Statistical Information Harvey Pollack spoke to a sixth grade math class from Friends School Haverford on Feb. 27. Pollack gave an overview of how stats are tracked in the NBA. The first 5,000 fans at the Wolves game on Feb. 29 will receive a Pollack bobblehead.
At a special Black History Month tribute to Philadelphia singer Marian Anderson at Beulah Baptist Christian School on Feb. 25, World B. Free presented the school principal with a CD containing the songs of Anderson as well as Sixers activity books and player posters.
Sixers Rookie Willie Green hosted a Detroit youth group for the 76ers contest against the Pistons on Feb. 23. The children had a chance to meet with Green before the game. In March, Green will be hosting a book drive called Rook for Books, to benefit Philadelphia Reads.
The Sixers took the Read to Achieve program to Episcopal Academy in Devon, Pa. where Comcast SportsNet's Ron Burke joined Hip-Hop in reading to over 250 excited students. Burke is helping the 76ers Willie Green promote this year's book drive, Rook for Books, benefiting Philadelphia Reads.
As part of the 76ers Read to Achieve program, Hip-Hop visited the Manoa School on Feb. 19 in Havertown, Pa. The School participates in the 76ers Read for Ronald program and as a reward for the students already reading over 110,000 minutes in the first two weeks of the program, Hip-Hop brought his favorite book, "Bunny's Noisy Book" as a guest reader.

The 76ers made a $2,500 donation to the United Negro College Fund before the Toronto game on Feb 3. Representing the UNCF were Connie Scott, Assistant Area Director and Monica Scott, a UNCF alum. The donation will provide students - many of whom are the first in their families to attend college - with direct access to higher education.

76ers TV personality Marc Zumoff and mascot Hip-Hop hosted a 76ers Read to Achieve event at Reynolds Elementary School in North Philadelphia. Zumoff served as the school's "Principal for a Day" back in December and promised to come back with the Read to Achieve program. Zumoff read Hip-Hop's favorite book, while Hip-Hop got all the kids involved. Together, the school took the Read to Achieve pledge, and according to Principal Thomas-El - every kid has to memorize the pledge.
It was Phillies night at the Wachovia Center on Tuesday, Jan. 27 and the newest member of the team, pitcher Eric Milton, joined in the fun. Milton, aided by Hip-Hop and the Phanatic, drew the winning name in the Mitchell and Ness raffle for a retro Mike Schmidt jersey.
