76ers Opening Night Suite Sweepstakes

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED

  1. ELIGIBILITY: The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, 18 years of age and older as of the date of entry. The following persons and their dependents are not eligible to enter or win: employees of Philadelphia 76ers, L.P., Comcast Spectacor, L.P., the National Basketball Association and its member teams and NBA Properties, Inc. and the parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and members of household of each of the above.
  2. HOW TO ENTER: The sweepstakes will commence on Monday, May 12, 2008 upon posting and end on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). To enter, complete the online entry form at www.sixers.com and submit electronically. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. Multiple entries will be disqualified. You must supply a valid e-mail address to win. If the e-mail address supplied is not valid, your entry will be disqualified.
  3. HOW TO WIN: One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries. To qualify for the drawing, entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday, October 13, 2008. One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries on or about Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Sponsor reserves the right to delay the drawing. Winner will be notified via e-mail and/or telephone. Winner must respond to e-mail or voice-mail notification within 8 hours, or he/she will forfeit the prize. If a prize is not claimed within the time limit, an alternate winner will be drawn at random from all remaining eligible entries. Winner and guest(s) (if applicable) will be required to execute and return, prior to and as a condition of receiving the prize, an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and, except where prohibited by law, a publicity release. Failure to comply with these rules will cause the prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, and no substitutions are allowed (except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted). Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing. If (i) winner does not respond to prize notification in the timeframe stated, (ii) winner declines his or her prize, (iii) winner or winner’s guest(s) (if applicable) fails to return the affidavit of eligibility and liability release within the timeframe stated, or (iv) winner is unable to attend the event on the date specified, it will result in the disqualification of such winner and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing at Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to pick an alternate winner but, in the event an alternate winner cannot be determined, the prize will go unawarded.
  4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE(S): One (1) winner: Winner will receive twelve (12) tickets in a luxury suite to the Philadelphia 76ers 2008-09 season opening home game at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA (Approximate Retail Value: $3,000). Winner cannot assign or transfer the prize to another person and may not redeem the prize for cash or otherwise. No substitutions or exchanges will be provided, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize for one with equal or greater retail value. All expenses not stated herein (including, but not limited to, taxes and fees on the prize and other personal expenses incurred in connection with the redemption, receipt and/or use of the prize or participating in any prize-related activity) are the responsibility of the winner. No extension of event dates will be granted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

  5. ADDITIONAL TERMS: Online entries by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, education, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the sweepstakes should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, or proper operation or play of the sweepstakes, in which case winner will be selected from entries received prior to action taken. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to the entrants.
