Tickets to highly anticipated Sixers return to the Wachovia Spectrum to go on sale on Monday, December 15
FANS WHO PURCHASE TICKETS IN PERSON AT THE BOX OFFICE CAN TAKE TOUR OF SIXERS FORMER LOCKER ROOM AND MEET TEAM ALUMNI
Philadelphia, Pa. – December 8, 2008 – Tickets to one of the most anticipated Philadelphia 76ers games ever - the Sixers vs. the Chicago Bulls at their former home, the Wachovia Spectrum, on Friday, March 13, - will go on sale on Monday, December 15 at 10 a.m. exclusively through ComcastTIX at ComcastTIX.com, in person at the Spectrum box office or by calling 1-800-298-4200 and additional fees will be applied.
"This will be a very special night for Sixers fans as we come back to our former home one more time before it closes," said Sixers Senior Vice President of Business Operations Lara Price. "There is so much anticipation for this game and we’re excited to put the game on sale on December 15."
As a special bonus, the first 500 fans purchasing their tickets in person at the Spectrum box office on Monday, December 15 at 10 a.m. (only) can immediately take a tour of the Sixers former locker room and meet Sixers Alumni.
Tickets at $19.67, $75, $90, and $150 will go on sale on Monday, December 15 at 10 a.m. Sixers season ticket holders have been notified about the chance to purchase additional tickets in advance through an exclusive presale opportunity. In addition, members of the Sixers Sixth Man Email and Text Club will also have a presale opportunity beginning Thursday, December 11 at 10am.

The Sixers are returning to the Wachovia Spectrum for a very special regular season contest against the Bulls, as the club is celebrating the last season of the historic arena. Comcast-Spectacor announced that this will be the last year of the Wachovia Spectrum at the conclusion of the Philadelphia Phantoms and Philadelphia Kixx, hockey and indoor soccer seasons.
Demolition of the Spectrum will make way for Philly Live, a spectacular new retail, restaurant, and entertainment district. Cordish Company, of Baltimore, MD, a world-renowned developer of similar projects throughout North America, is partnering with Sixers parent company Comcast-Spectacor in Philly Live.
