Sixers to Provide 400 Tickets to Out-of-state Soldiers

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – NOVEMBER 21, 2012 – The Philadelphia 76ers will provide 400 tickets to their home game on Sunday, November 25 (against the Phoenix Suns, tip-off at 6 p.m.) to soldiers training at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst who, due to their training schedule, are unable to go home for Thanksgiving.

The soldiers will be surprised with the tickets at the 9th Annual Feed the Troops Thanksgiving Day Celebration, hosted by the Jewish War Veterans Post 126, at America’s Best Value Inn (2389 Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002), which takes place on Thursday, November 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Sixers are one of many sponsors for Feed the Troops, and have provided tickets for the soldiers it benefits for the last six years.
 
The Sixers begin a three-game homestand at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, November 24 against the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, November 25 at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 27 against the Dallas Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are still available for all of these games online at SIXERS.COM, by phone at 215-339-7676 or in person at the Wells Fargo Center box office.
