Sixers Players and Coaches Provide Clothing and Serve Dinner at Sunday Breakfast Mission in Center City on Friday, February 22

APPROXIMATELY 10 PLAYERS AND COACHES TO ATTEND SERVICE EVENT
FOR MORE THAN 200 HOMELESS MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN

 

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – FEBRUARY 21, 2013 – The Philadelphia 76ers organization, including approximately 10 players and members of the coaching staff, will help deliver clothing collected by the team to the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission (302 N. 13th St., Philadelphia, PA) on Friday, February 22 at 5:30 p.m.

Following the delivery, those players, coaches and front office staff members will head inside to serve dinner to more than 200 men, women and children in the homeless community (approximately 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.).

The Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission was founded in 1878 and is the third oldest Rescue Mission in the country, serving the homeless at the event location and a transitional home for women in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
