Sixers Announce 2013-14 Television Schedule

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – OCTOBER 4, 2013 – The Philadelphia 76ers announced their television broadcast schedule for the 2013-14 season today.  Broadcast partner Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will combine to air all 82 regular season games along with both of the Sixers preseason home games played at Wells Fargo Center.  Each one of those broadcasts will be available in high-definition.

Comcast SportsNet will air a total of 74 regular season games, including all three matchups against Miami, beginning with the season opener at Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.

The Comcast Network will pick up the remaining eight games on the schedule (at Washington on Nov. 1, at Orlando on Nov. 27, at Milwaukee on Dec. 21, at Sacramento on Jan. 2, at Portland on Jan. 4, at Washington on Jan. 20, vs. Utah on March 8 and at San Antonio on March 24).

For the preseason, Comcast SportsNet will broadcast the game vs. Brooklyn on Monday, Oct. 14 and the preseason finale vs. Minnesota on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

All regular season games on Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will be preceded by a half-hour pre-game show with “Sixers Postgame Live” airing immediately after each game.

The game against Chicago on Saturday, Nov. 2 will be carried by NBA TV in addition to Comcast SportsNet.  NBA TV broadcasts are blacked out within 75 miles of the team’s home market.
