Sixers Announce 2012-13 Television Schedule

COMCAST SPORTSNET AND THE COMCAST NETWORK WILL AIR A TOTAL OF 79 REGULAR SEASON GAMES

SIXERS WILL APPEAR ON TNT THREE TIMES AND ESPN FIVE TIMES

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – OCTOBER 2, 2012 – The Philadelphia 76ers announced their television broadcast schedule for the 2012-13 season today, with broadcast partner Comcast SportsNet leading the way by carrying 71 games while The Comcast Network will air eight games.  All 79 of those broadcasts will be available in high-definition.

The remaining three games on the schedule will be carried exclusively on national television by TNT (Jan. 21 vs. San Antonio, Feb. 28 at Chicago and Mar. 5 vs. Boston).  The Sixers will also appear on ESPN five times (Nov. 7 at New Orleans, Nov. 16 vs. Utah, Dec. 7 vs. Boston, Feb. 24 at New York and Mar. 8 at Miami) in addition to airing on Comcast SportsNet.

NBA TV will air four games (blacked out within 75 miles of the team’s home market) over the course of the season.  All four of those games will also be available on Comcast SportsNet.

Comcast SportsNet will also air three Sixers preseason games on October 15 vs. Boston, October 17 vs. Cleveland and October 21 at Boston.

All season games carried by Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network are available in high-definition. 

All regular season games on Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will be preceded by a half-hour pre-game show with “Sixers Postgame Live” immediately following every game.
