NBA and MeiGray Join Forces to Authenticate NBA Game-Worn Jerseys.

NEW YORK (March 19, 2008) - Fans will have the chance to own the actual jerseys worn by NBA All-Stars like Yao Ming, Dirk Nowitzki and Brandon Roy.

The NBA and The MeiGray Group, the Official Game-Worn Source of the NBA, have launched a website for NBA fans to purchase game worn jerseys at NBAGameworn.com.

Teams participating in the program are the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers and Portland Trail Blazers.

Jerseys authenticated by the unique security system will be coded, tagged and security-numbered before players wear them on the court in preseason, regular season and playoff games.

Before they are worn, collectors can pre-order their jerseys and watch the player wear the jerseys in NBA action. Once they are worn, they will go directly from the court to hobby enthusiasts, casual collectors and avid basketball fans all over the world.
