Philadelphia 76ers Name Dan Hauser Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships
PHILADELPHIA, PA. – SEPTEMBER 16, 2013 – The Philadelphia 76ers today announced that veteran sports industry executive Dan Hauser has been named the organization’s new Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, effective immediately. In this role, Hauser will oversee all sponsorship initiatives, including strategy and new business, as well as the team’s television and radio partnerships. He will report to Chief Revenue Officer Chris Heck.

Hauser most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Palace Sports & Entertainment, where he was primarily responsible for wide-ranging sponsorship and advertising sales for the Detroit Pistons, Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Music Festival, Oakland University and several other properties and events. Under his leadership, the Pistons were consistently ranked among the top NBA teams in corporate sponsorship. They were also the only team be named five- and four-time winners of the league’s Account Performance Award and Category Performance Award, respectively. He is the all-time leading revenue generator for Palace Sports & Entertainment.
During his time with Palace Sports & Entertainment, Hauser had a hand in nearly every aspect of the Pistons’ business operations, including premium suites, season and group tickets, marketing, public relations, community relations and camps. He was also involved in negotiating radio and cable television rights to Pistons games and instrumental in the construction, design, development and success of The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Hauser worked his way through the ranks for Palace Sports & Entertainment, rising to Executive Vice President after serving as Vice president of Marketing, Director of Marketing and Sales, and Director of Sales and Promotion. He spent time in group sales after starting his career with the Pistons as a sales associate.
Hauser holds a master’s degree in Sports Administration from Ohio University and bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
