Today is my last game with the team. I am heading back to Pella, Iowa, for one of my high school friend’s wedding. I am a groomsman in the wedding and Billy King was nice enough to let me leave early. In the game tonight, I got a pretty bad scratch on my face. I hope my man getting married doesn’t mind my disfigurement.
We got a great win tonight against Dallas, and it was a good way to finish out this part of my summer. It has been a long three weeks, but I felt like I have improved a lot since my first day at the practice site. I felt comfortable with the plays and the pace of the game. It has been a lot to learn, but this is all fun to me. I enjoy learning the game and getting out there and seeing how it works.
So I am going to go home for a few days and relax. Before I know it, I will be heading back to Philly and starting to work out with the coaches. I want to get my contract figured out, get settled and start preparing for training camp.
Until then, thank you! It has been fun. I hope to see you all at the Beach Bash, if not, see you on opening night!
Kyle
