Allen Iverson Named NBA Player of the Week

This is Allen Iverson's 10th career Player of the Week Award and the second time he has received the honor in back-to-back weeks (1/20/02 and 1/27/02).
Iverson averaged 32.3 points on .449 shooting (44-98 FGA) with 4.8 assists, and 2.5 steals as the 76ers went 4-0 last week to stretch their winning streak to seven games and now have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference at 14-4.
Here is a closer look at the week for Iverson:
Nov. 25 vs. New Orleans: Posted a game-high 29 points hitting 11-20 FGA and 7-9 FTA. Also had four assists, three rebounds and one steal in a 108-87 win over the Hornets.
Nov. 27 vs. Miami: Scored a game-high 36 points, while dishing out five assists and collecting three steals in a 83-74 win vs. the Heat. Scored 13 of the 76ers' 21 points in the fourth period.
Nov. 29 at Cleveland: Scored 29 points, a season-high-tying seven assists, three rebounds and three steals in a 106-99 win vs. the Cavaliers. Scored 12 of his 29 points in the third period and made two steals in the final 1:24 of the game to secure the victory.
Nov. 30 at Washington :Scored 35 points (12-27 FGA, 11-13 FTA) with three assists and three steals as the 76ers extended their winning streak to seven games with a 95-94 victory over the Wizards.
