Allen Iverson Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Iverson averaged nearly 35 points per game for the week.

NEW YORK, November 25 - Allen Iverson was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, November 18 through Sunday, November 24.

Iverson led the 76ers to a 3-1 record last week by averaging a league-high 34.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 3.00 steals.

Here is a closer look at the week for Iverson:

November 19 @ New Orleans: Had a season-high 38 points, helping the Sixers rally from a 22-point deficit, while adding six rebounds, seven assists and three steals in a 99-98 loss to the Hornets.

November 20 @ Memphis: Recorded 33 points, six assists, three rebounds and three steals in a 95-88 win over the Grizzlies.

November 22 vs. Toronto: Recorded 31 points, seven rebound, five assists and five steals as the Sixers remained unbeaten at home with a 90-80 victory over the Raptors.

November 24 @ Toronto: Scored 37 points while grabbing seven rebounds as the Sixers defeated the Raptors 94-84.
