SCHEDULE FOR 76ERS FIRST-ROUND SERIES ANNOUNCED

Series tips off in Detroit on Sunday, April at 6:00PM; Sixers back home on April 25 and April 27

PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 17, 2008) – The National Basketball Association and Philadelphia 76ers announced the schedule for the first-round series between the Sixers and Detroit Pistons. The Sixers run through the Playoffs is presented by Revolution Card.

Tickets for the Sixers first two NBA Playoff games are on sale now and available for purchase via SIXERS.COM, by calling 800-298-4200 or visiting the Wachovia Complex Box Office.

The Sixers will play their first two playoff games at the Wachovia Center since the 2004-05 season on Friday, April 25 and Sunday, April 27. The full first-round schedule is below **.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to games for the Bud Light Block Party at Wachovia Center, which takes place both inside the AT&T Pavilion and the outside the arena on the 11th street side. Opening three hours prior to every home game, the Block Party features interactive games, live music from top-area bands, tasty barbecue and celebrity appearances. A ticket for that night’s game is required for entry into the Block Party.
