76ers to celebrate Fan Appreciation Day at final home game on April 14, 2008

Sixers organization to say “Thank You” to fans at regular season home finale vs. Cleveland on Monday

Philadelphia, Pa. – April 8, 2008 - As the 76ers prepare for their return to the NBA Playoffs, the entire organization will honor its fans at the regular season home finale against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Wachovia Center on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 7 p.m.

"We want to thank our fans for their support throughout the season and look forward to celebrating their passion and enthusiasm during the course of the evening," said Senior Vice President of Business Operations Lara Price. "There are special events planned - including a unique player introduction – that we feel will show our fans how much they mean to our organization and our team on a nightly basis."

To thank fans for their support throughout one of the great turnarounds in NBA history, everyone will walk out of the game a winner. Upon entering Wachovia Center, every fan in attendance will receive a "Welcome Package," which contains a team picture, a rundown of all the fabulous giveaways and a "Golden Ticket" which is redeemable for a free ticket to any game in November or December during the 2008-09 season.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and attend the Bud Light Block Party - featuring interactive games, live music from top-area bands, tasty barbecue treats and celebrity appearances - starting at 4 p.m. The Block Party takes place both inside the AT&T Pavilion and the outside the Wachovia Center on the 11th street side of the Wachovia Center.

Here is a brief rundown of just some of the events that will take place throughout the evening.

• Dollar hot dogs are available for purchase throughout the game.
• A recap video celebrating the Sixers season will play prior to the start of the National Anthem.
• Special "Thank You" videos from the Sixers players and front office - along with Wachovia Center staff - will be shown.
• Sixers mascot Hip-Hop will do an autographed T-Shirt Toss, sponsored by KIA.
• Tons of prizes will be awarded throughout the game, including high-definition televisions, digital cameras, Magellan GPS Navigation systems and a pair of Robbins Diamond earrings just to name a few.
• At the conclusion of the game, randomly selected Season Ticket Holders will be presented game-worn sneakers and jerseys from the players.
