PHILADELPHIA 76ERS GAME ON FRIDAY, APRIL 11 NOW AIRING ON CN8
Sixers Radio broadcast also switched due to Flyers NHL Playoffs; game can now be heard on 94.1FM WYSP
Philadelphia, PA – April 9, 2008- The Philadelphia 76ers game on Friday, April 11, 2008 against the Indiana Pacers will now air on CN8. The game was moved due to Comcast SportsNet’s coverage of Game 1 of the Philadelphia Flyers NHL Playoff series against the Washington Capitals.
All other remaining Sixers telecasts for the duration of the regular season are still scheduled to air on Comcast SportsNet.
Additionally, the Sixers radio broadcast of Friday’s game can now be heard on 94.1FM WYSP.
Sixers Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the remaining three home games to experience the Bud Light Block Party – featuring interactive games, live music from top-area bands, tasty barbecue treats and celebrity appearances – which takes place three hours before every remaining home game both inside the AT&T Pavilion and outside on the 11th street side of the Wachovia Center.
The Bud Light Block Party, which takes place both inside the AT&T Pavilion and the outside the Wachovia Center on the 11th street side, begins this Wednesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. when the Sixers host the Detroit Pistons at Wachovia Center (game time is 7 p.m.). The party continues on Friday, April 11 at 4 p.m. when the Sixers host the Indiana Pacers (game time is 7 p.m.), and again on Monday, April 14 at 4 p.m. when the Sixers host the Cleveland Cavaliers (game time is 7 p.m.). Tickets for that night’s game are required for entry into the Block Party
