2008 NBA DRAFT PICK STATUS
The Sixers own the rights to the following draft picks:
NOTE: The Sixers traded a future second round draft pick to the Utah Jazz in exchange for a second round draft pick (60th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft).1, 2 1. The pick acquired by Utah was then conveyed to the Detroit Pistons in order to complete a trade made on Dec. 18, 1997, in which the Sixers acquired Theo Ratliff and Aaron McKie in exchange for Jerry Stackhouse and Eric Montross. As a result, the Sixers retained the 45th overall pick in the second round of the 2005 NBA Draft, selecting Louis Williams. 2. Utah will receive the Sixers 2008 second round pick if it is in the last 25 picks of the draft (36-60). If Utah does not receive the Sixers 2008 second round draft pick, the Jazz will receive the Sixers 2009 second round draft pick if it is in the last 25 picks of the draft (36-60). Otherwise the Jazz will receive the Sixers second round draft pick in 2010. |
